How to Play

Okay, this game is super fun! The alien theme is actually really well done, the tiles and backgrounds look fantastic – way better than most Mahjong games out there. The 'bomb mode' is a total game-changer too. It really helps when you get stuck, but you have to use it wisely. I breezed through the first level but the others definitely made me think. Love the cosmic vibe and smooth animations!
Alien Mahjong is a solid puzzle game. The tile matching is classic Mahjong Solitaire, but the alien twist is a nice touch. I really enjoyed the strategic element of deciding when to use the bomb mode – it's not just a free pass, you really need to plan it out. My only minor gripe is that there are only 3 levels. They are challenging, for sure, but I beat them quicker than I expected and was left wanting more cosmic puzzles to solve! Still, a great way to pass the time.

The tiles sometimes feel a bit small on my phone screen, making it hard to tap the right one, which led to a few misclicks. Also, the difficulty spikes pretty fast. The bomb mode is there, but it's so limited it feels like you barely get to use it, and the last level just feels impossible without a lot of luck. I spent ages on it and just gave up. Maybe it's just not for me.
